I have no pictures of us together because it was always either she or me taking them. I tell people now to PLEASE get in front of the lense sometimes so your kids don't have to TRY to remember what you looked like doing everyday things.<BR/><BR/>I have afghans (sp? it's late!) my mom made. Mom tied her quilts bu...This essay is so beautiful. Mom tied her quilts but I still treasure them. Elizabeth has one we call the Heater. It was an old quilt that Mom re-covered in new fabric. Black and powder blue. I thought it was so ugly--it was--but the kids fought over it because it was so darn warm and because...you guessed it...because Grandma made it.
